Early Christmas in Flagstaff

We took a trip up to flagstaff this weekend to celebrate an early Christmas with my side of the family. It was a blast. My sister and her husband had told us they weren't going to be able to make it, so we were really bummed. Then they showed up at the house unexpectedly. We were all so happy.
Saturday night everyone came over or the dinner and Christmas eve celebration. Our tradition is to have Mexican food instead of the traditional turkey dinner. It was amazing. My mom made delicous homemade tamales, chimichangas and salsa. My aunt and uncle and their families brought other dishes to go along with it and they were great as well. I am pretty sure I ate more food than I've ever eaten in one sitting. For desert, mom made her fabulous peanut butter pie. I could eat a whole pie by myself, that's how good they are. We opened presents and just hung out for the rest of the night. Jason had so much fun helping to hand out the presents. He got so many cool things. The one thing he really wanted was a trash truck. He did get one and didn't stop playing with it for the rest of the night. I don't know what it is, but tht kid is addicted to trash trucks.
Adam and I had a great time with the family as well. We had the most fun playing with Jason and all his new toys. Just watching the excitement in his eyes was the best Christmas gift we could ever have.
